Facilitation Skills

The Mindspa Institute Facilitation Skills training course will improve your facilitation and presentation techniques and give you the confidence to facilitate highly effective group interventions to a diverse adult audience. Adult participants are unique: they are often people with years of experience; they have technical expertise and cannot be handled in the same way as children who are easily “wowed” by new knowledge.  This course will equip facilitators with the understanding required to effectively facilitate powerful, attitude changing meetings, workshops and sessions with their teams.

NQF Level 4

“A facilitator is the custodian of the consensus process, a servant-leader whose purpose is to help the group make the best decisions possible.” – Briggs

Facilitation is a process intended to make something easier. Facilitation requires many important interpersonal skills, most of which center on initiating, maintaining, monitoring, and concluding different forms of structured group activities. Good facilitation can make the difference between the success or failure of an event. This course will teach participants how to act as facilitators who can draw out and process audience input for the purpose of moving a discussion forward.
