I have a degree in law and a financial management equivalent, with 15+ years’ experience in diverse fields of business, including retail, banking, telecommunications, property management, flooring and education. My focus though, has been in financial management and training. Teaching is my passion; I love the interaction with people, connecting and making a difference, no matter how small.
Before going into the formal training environment full time, I had a break from the corporate environment where I trained new entrepreneurs on setting up their businesses including all aspects thereof.
My training focuses on improving individuals' business and computer skills. Courses I have extensively trained include Project Management, Finance for non-financial managers, Business Analysis, Report writing (Technical, Scientific, Financial and business), Microsoft office (ALL), Management Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Admin and Secretarial to name but a few.
I have trained delegates from different industries at clients such as Aurum Health, Right to Care, CSIR, SAICA, Anglo Gold Ashanti, Worley Parsons, Steinhoff, Transnet, NSA, Omnia, Vodacom, Buscor Mpumalanga and a seminar on personal finance to 50 delegates for WBHO. Feedback from delegates and clients over the years has been extremely positive.
I have the ability to take any training material and teach it. I write my own material when required. My vast experience in the business environment gives me the ability to adjust and answer questions in the training room with confidence and ease.
I thrive on seeing the reaction of people when they have a 'light bulb' moment.
