Dr Esme van Dyk has a solid background in Management and Leadership where she was employed in senior positions in HR. She is a subject matter expert in Labour Law, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Dispute Resolution including Divorce Mediation, Commercial Mediation, Civil Mediation, Labour Mediation, Arbitration, Facilitation as well as Conflict Resolution.
She has been accepted on the panel of The Africa Institute for Dispute Settlement (University of Stellenbosch) as mediator and arbitrator. A member of SAAM (SA Association of mediators). She has consulted with numerous clients on labour law matters as well as Management and Leadership issues.
In addition, she has spent time in the Research Field where she managed projects, did high level interviews with strong emphasis in analysis and report writing.
In terms of Training and Development, she assisted in the development of a RPL Tool, presented numerous training courses, and lecture at various levels as well as Academic Institutions including UP, MANCOSA, REGENT, MILPARK, REGENESYS as a PT lecturer. She lectured much through UP Centre for Continued Education for Public Service in various courses including all aspects of Employee Relations and Management. Previously she was a National HR Manager in the retail sector. She has extensive (30 +years) Human Resource experience.
She also supervises and examine the dissertations for MBA students for all these Institutions.
She has completed the Assessor and Moderator courses and is a registered assessor and moderator for P SETA.
