Confidence and assertiveness is a critical management skill without which managers cannot lead, motivate and inspire their teams. Being more assertive rather than aggressive will earn them the respect and trust of their team.

Learning to act and speak in a more assertive way could help them overcome obstacles such as shyness, low self-esteem and a lack of confidence.
